Em seu discurso místico, predominantemente apofático, há uma espécie de desconstrução de pressupostos filosóficos e teológicos da época, bem como um ponto de vista feminino definido em relação a si mesmo, e não ao masculino, como era padrão. A partir de uma leitura do feminismo contemporâneo, tomando por base os trabalhos de Luce Irigaray, onde a questão da construção da subjetividade feminina e do relacionamento da mulher com Deus estão em debate, é possível ver na obra de Porete um exemplo da apropriaçâo do feminino como verdadeira alteridade. | ||

Marguerite Porete, who was burned as a heretic in 1310, shows a dissonance in relation to this spirituality defined as eminine. In her mystical discourse, which is predominantly apophatic, there is a deconstruction of philosophical and theological assumptions as well as a feminine poim of view defined in relation to itself and not in refation to the masculine, which was norma tive in those days. From a contemporary feminist approach, based on the work of luce Irigaray, in which the issues of the construction of the subjectivity and the relationship between woman and God are central, we can see in Porete's work an appropriation of the feminine as "true otherness". | ||
