This article presents an overview of Tājī’s experience and articulation of the Sufi path through selected English translations from his collection of Urdu ghazals, Signs of Beauty (Āyāt-i jamāl), which are performed by Qawwals and ghazal singers both in India and in Pakistan to this day. |
