The analogy with the muiraquitã myth improves the understanding of unity in diversity represented by the different Umbanda temples investigated. Recurring information was sought in the micro / private sphere capable of reflecting Umbanda's practices at the macro / general level, in addition to the importance of mutual respect and the rescue of the collective memory of the different narratives. Through the follow-up of each story it was possible to observe how in the process of syncretism of Umbanda, there were losses, adaptations and gains that generated the specificities of this genuinely Brazilian religion. | ||
