This religious world was built by the people who lived in the surroundings of the village. They left their homes and formed a new community, creating a world/cosmos ruled directly by Saint Mary and Baby Jesus themselves. The history of the Sanctuary is related to important events in the nineties sixties, like the Second Vatican Council and the Brazilian military dictatorship. | ||
