Kernberg M.D. presented a summary of his views on leadership, based on general theory of the administration of organizations and his own particular interest in how individual psychology and group psychology are interrelated, from the point of view of psychoanalytic theory. Following some remarks authority and authoritarianism, the article analyses the functions which an institutional leader is expected to carry out, and the personal qualities which are required if one is to meet these expectations. Attention is also given to the analysis of organizational failure and to some of the particularities of religious organizations. L'articolo trascrive la conferenza presentata da Otto F. Kernberg M.D. all'occasione del Solenne Atto Accademico organizzato dall'Istituto di Psicologia della Pontificia Università Gregoriane in marzo 2009. L'autore presenta un riassunto delle proprie posizioni sulla Leadership fondandosi su una teoria generale dell'amministrazione e delle organizzazioni, e sul proprio interesse per l'intreccio delle psicologie individuali e di gruppo, a partire da una teoria psicoanalitica. Dopo alcune osservazioni sull'autorità e l'autoritarismo, l'articolo analizza le funzioni che si aspettano da un leader in una istituzione, e le qualité personali che si richiedono da un candidate) a questa funzione. Si rivolge poi l'attenzione all'analisi dei fallimenti nelle organizzazioni e ad alcune parti colarità delle organizzazioni religiose. | ||
