This article investigates the way in which one of analytic philosophy's «founding fathers», Ludwig Wittgenstein, in his principal works speaks about God. Wittgenstein does not use the word «God» very often, but he uses it in a consistent way. The context of the word «God» emphasizes the contingency of the world and the strict unpredictability of what happens. From this observation, it is argued that life today no less than in the past raises the question of God and offers possibilities to speak about Him — even in the traditional «theistic» way. Si sa che la filosofia analitica non parla facilmente di Dio. Quest'articolo ricerca il modo in cui Ludwig Wittgenstein, uno dei «patriarchi» della filosofia analitica, parla di Dio nelle sue opere principali. Non è molto spesso che Wittgenstein utilizza la parola «Dio», ma l'utilizza in un modo consistente. Il contesto della parola «Dio» mette l'accento sulla contingenza del mondo e l'imprevedibilità stretta di ciò che succede.
