Living in Harmony partage avec d'autres mouvements de ce type un certain nombre ae traits : une dimension internationale, une éthique de service social, et un leader charismatique proposant un enseignement plus technique que doctrinal et profondément occidentalisé. L'observation fait apparaître diverses orientations « psychoreligieuses » et permet de saisir l'articulation entre psychologie et néo-hindouisme : une dimension holistique, la prégnance de l'expérience et la gestion des émotions, ainsi que la référence à la loi du karma, qui renforce la responsabilité individuelle. On the basis of a participant's observations during a workshop organized by a neo-hindu movement, Living in Harmony, the aim of this paper is to focus the attention on the use of Hindu practices for therapeutic ends. Living in Harmony shares common characteristics with other neo-Hindu movements of this type, including an international dimension, an ethic of social service, and a charismatic leader who offers a form of teaching which is is strongly westernized and more practical than doctrinal. The observation highlights various « psycho-religious » inclinations and the links between neo-hinduism and the field of psychology : a holistic dimension, the importance of experience, and the control of the emotions, in addition to the law of the Karma, which stresses individual responsibility. Auf der Basis der Teilnahme eines Beobachters an einem von einer neu-hinduistischen Bewegung — Living in Harmony — veranstalteten Praktikum hat dieser Artikel das Ziel, den Einsatz hinduistischer Praktiken für therapeutische Zwecke zu beleuchten. Living in Harmony teilt mit anderen Bewegungen dieser Art bestimmte Merkmale : eine internationale Dimension, eine Sozialdienstethik und einen charismatischen Führer, der eine stark verwestlichte und eher technische als doktrinäre Lehre verbreitet. Die Beobachtung zeigt « psychoreligiöse » Ausrichtungen auf und gestattet die Erkennung der Schnittstelle zwischen Psychologie und Neo-Hinduismus (ganzheitliche Dimension, Prägnanz der Erfahrung und Meisterung der Gefühle), sowie der Beziehung zum Gesetz des Karma, das die individuelle Verantwortlichkeit verstärkt. | ||
