On désigne souvent cet ensemble comme un « nouvel Orient » . Simultanément s'installe une attitude quasi officielle de méfiance sinon de stigmatisation à l'égard de groupes de croyance qualifiés ou plutôt stigmatisés en tant que « sectes » . À travers l'expérience d'un groupe thérapeutique se muant en secte, on tente d'identifier ce qui motive l'engagement vers des formes renouvelées de croyances ou de savoirs ainsi que les frustrations et les désillusions qui serviront à alimenter le discours légaliste d'ostracisme à leur égard. In France, as in many Western countries, there exists an attraction towards religious spiritualisms imported primarily from Asia or else derived from alternative movements born around the end of the sixties. Taken collectively, this development is often referred to as a « New Orient » . Simultaneously, an almost official attitude of distrust or even stigmatization arises with respect to such beliefs, often qualified or rather stigmatized as « sects » . Utilizing the experience of a therapeutic group evolving into a sect, an effort is made to identify the motives behind the engagement in new forms of belief or of knowledge, as well as the frustrations and disillusions which feed the legalistic effort to ostracize them. Wie in vielen westlichen Ländern besteht auch in Frankreich ein Hang zu religiösen Spiritualismen, wie sie entweder primär aus Asien importiert oder aus den Alternativ-Bewegungen vom Ende der sechziger Jahre abgeleitet werden. Das Ganze wird häufig auch als « Neuer Orient » bezeichnet. Gleichzeitig entsteht eine quasi offizielle Misstrauens- bzw. Stigmatisierungshaltung, die solche Gruppen als « Sekten » ansieht oder gar stigmatisiert. Am Beispiel einer therapeutischen Gruppe, die sich zu einer Sekte wandelt, wird versucht herauszuarbeiten, welche Motive für eine Hinwendung zu neuen Glaubens- bzw. Wissensformen wesentlich waren. Die Frustrationen und Enttäuschungen, die den legalistischen Kurs zu einer Ausgrenzung solcher Entwicklungen speisen, werden untersucht. | ||
