Aujourd'hui cette doctrine a repris de la vigueur avec l'apparition de nombreux centres, regroupés en fédérations. Une raison en est l'expansion générale de la croyance en la réincarnation, qui donne à l'individu l'espoir d'une vie meilleure. Une autre se trouve, paradoxalement, dans l'esquisse d'un nouveau « mouvement communautaire » , qui permet à ce même individu de s'inscrire dans la société à travers un discours à la fois merveilleux et rationalisant. After describing the circumstances surrounding the birth of Kardecist spiritism and the foundations of this doctrine, the article traces its development and orientations in 20th century France. Today, this doctrine has strengthened as shown by the appearance of numerous centers grouped in federations. One reason for this is the general spread of a belief in reincarnation, which offers the individual the prospect of a better life. Another reason stems, paradoxically, from the shaping up of a new « communal movement » which allows the same individual to integrate himself into society by means of a teaching which is both miraculous and rational. Der Artikel stellt die Grundlagen des kardecistischen Spiritismus und die Umstände seiner Entstehung dar und verfolgt sodann die Entwicklung und die Veränderungen, die dieser im Laufe des 20. Jahrhunderts in Frankreich erfahren hat. Die heutige Belebung dieser Doktrin äussert sich im Auftreten zahlreicher Zentren, die sich zu Gruppierungen zusammengeschlossen haben. Ein Grund hierfür ist die allgemeine Ausweitung des Glaubens an eine Reïnkarnation, die dem Einzelnen die Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben eröffnet ; ein weiterer Grund besteht paradoxerweise in der Herausbildung einer neuen « Gemeinschaftsbewegung » , die ihm auch - mittels einer Lehre, in der sich Wunder und Vernunft mischen — die Möglichkeit bietet, seinen Platz in der Gesellschaft zu finden. | ||
