Description
Résumé:Between the abstractness of concepts on the one hand and the concreteness of the manifested symbolism of art and nature on the other, lies the symbolism of numbers, offering a unique manner of expressing metaphysical realities. For each number has its qualitative aspect as well as its cosmic images. The question of duality is crucial, comprising not only the aspect of polarity but also that of complementarism. From another standpoint, each of the terms can be viewed in its essential reality, showing that in the relationship object-subject, pure objectivity realizes subjectivity through its qualities while pure subjectivity contains the metaphysical essence of the knowable.
