Die Bundestage des Schmalkaldischen Bundes wurden darum zu einer überaus bedeutsamen politischen Gesprächsplattform in einer Zeit politischer Neuorientierungen. Dies gilt zum einen in einer Außenperspektive, in der die Bedeutung der Bundestage als Möglichkeit zur Initiierung bzw. Durchführung von reichsweiten, teils gar europäischen Aushandlungsprozessen und strategischen Diskussionen einer Analyse bedarf. Zum anderen müssen in einer Innenperspektive die Bundestagungen als Orte strategischer Diskussionen zwischen den Bundesmitgliedern beleuchtet werden. | ||
