In asking how religious communities and development groups can come together for a common goal, the contributors rely upon a wide set of disciplinary perspectives: anthropology, sociology, political science, religious studies, economics, history, and physics. Just as diverse are the development concerns they address: poverty, human rights, banking, microfinance, health assets, and HIV/AIDS. Yet all of these selections address religion in its complexity, and take its role for development seriously. | ||
