The findings as they relate only to family socialization factors are reported here. They confirm the general nonpublication status of the Catholic college faculty. They also indicate that non-publication is associated with lower educational and occupational attainments of parents and with family structures marked by strict supervision and by strong affective ties to mothers. Publication, on the other hand, is associated with the opposite environmental and structural factors. | ||
