Zusammenfassung:This study focused upon determining the nature of the relationship between the culture of a community and the definition of the ministers' role in community mental health. No evidence was found to support the commonly accepted premise that the community setting is a key variable in the formation of the mental health role of ministers. Rather, findings suggest that this role transcends the boundaries of the community and is influenced more by personal and demographic characteristics of the individual minister.
