Growth was found to be related to the extent to which pastors focus all facets of church life on growing, to the percent of members attending prayer meeting and/or meeting in small study and fellowship groups, to the belief in the growth potential of the congregation expressed by pastor and members, to the pastor's skill in the use of certain methods of evangelism, to the degree of unity in the church, to the level of family income, and to the degree to which laity assume church jobs and engage in outreach ministries. | ||
