Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:This study focuses on the relationship between the sexual attitudes and behaviors of 365 evangelical Christian singles and the degree to which they manifest intrinsic and extrinsic religious tendencies. Liberalism in sexual matters was demonstrated for certain behaviors; however, for others the sample was inclined to be conservative. Intrinsic religion was negatively correlated with attitudinal and behavioral sexual liberalism while extrinsic faith was positively associated with these inclinations. Those currently involved in heterosexual activity tend to be older, divorced and currently involved in a relationship. Even within this relatively religiously conservative group, there is a fair degree of liberality in sexual attitudes and behavior.
