Summary: | Some dimensions of religious commitment may influence relational communication skill. This study explored associations among four aspects of relational communication competence and three dimensions of religious commitment. Subjects were 167 southern university students. Results showed correlations between self-disclosure, interaction involvement, self-monitoring, and rhetorical sensitivity and aspects of Means, End, and Quest religiosity. Multiple discriminant analysis demonstrated that high and low End religious commitment might be differentiated by communication variables. |
