Individual giving is highly skewed, with one-fifth in each group giving about 75 percent of the total. The main predictors of individual giving are strong faith, conservative theology, and intense church involvement. Persons who plan their giving ahead of time give at higher levels. Volunteering time to churches is highest among the conservative Protestants and lowest among the Catholics. It is positively associated with church attendance and financial giving. | ||
