In this paper, I argue for the following answer: Wyclif straightforwardly identifies logic and Scripture, and he does so because it follows from the necessary convergence of philosophical and theological truth. This convergence, in turn, is a key feature of his thought, and is directly dependent on Augustine’s influence.\n4207 \n4207
