Significant differences (p<.05) were found among the groups in the degree of preference for three of the eight rabinnical roles. There was also little agreement among the groups in the order of their preference for, or interest in, the various ministerial activities associated with the rabbinate. Differences in role preferences between Jewish and Christian clergymen were also noted.
