L’un d’eux, les Notes secrètes d’Ozasa, Ozasa hiyōroku (1465), dévoile le véritable sens du pèlerinage vers Kumano, haut lieu du syncrétisme shinto-bouddhique, comme une pratique d’éveil bouddhique. Deux paradigmes de la pratique semblent se dégager. Le premier, exprimé par la doctrine de l’éveil originel, hongaku, invite à dépasser toute dualité entre le pèlerin et le dieu vénéré. Le second, formulé par la métaphore de l’entrée dans la matrice et de la croissance de l’embryon, insiste sur la transformation et le cheminement. | ||
