The other is a descriptive painting narrating the reunion and the banquet of a cheerful team of musicians. The scene, entirely dialogued, is based on a liturgical cento citing introits finely arranged according to the action. These two plays, as cheerful as they are singular, therefore mark the proximity of French song to secular theater. | ||

L’une est une chanson à danser perpétuant un thème ancestral dans une mise en polyphonie qui annonce le style « voix de ville ».
