Today greater emphasis is placed on the intermediary stages on the passage to the final goal and on the various means used in bringing about the rule of the Divine Principle in this world itself. T shall take the history of the Christian- Hindu interaction in India in the recent past as a model for examin- ing the dynamics of the common religious perspective that is emerging today.
