Zusammenfassung:The first historical "encounter" between Muslims and Christians in the Philippines .goes back to the 16th century, when the Spanish colonizers arrived in the Archipelago which, later, they called the Philippines, in honour of King Philip II of Spain. The real and positive "encounter" between Muslims and Christians still remains a hope. Often this term has carried a negative connotation, from the beginning, to present times.
