Summary: | According to Pierre Bourdieu, the "field structure" is closely linked to the relation of power that permeates the contact between the agents. Thus, within this structure are formed groups of "agents" for to accumulate the "specific capital", become "experts" or experts in their production, evaluation and distribution. Based on these considerations, this study propose is to analyze the "power relations" within the Assemblies of God Church with regard to the fight for monopoly of the customs and habits between 1930 and 1990, based on the resolution called of Saint Cristóvão, first attempt standardization of habits and customs, until the resolution of Saint André, who presented the main dictates that should be observed by all members of the churches Assemblies of God in Brazil. |
