Description
Summary:Nationalism and religion have both proven their reciprocity and interrelatedness, especially in light of the latest terroristic events worldwide and which are often associated with the religion of Islam. Understanding the way in which people choose to affiliate themselves with a certain religion, the best examples of which the religion of Islam provides accounts of in this paper, would certainly clear understandings and ease peoples’ anger towards this religion which is often blamed of a number of heinous terroristic events happening around the world. In this account, this paper is an attempt to explicate how nationalism is related to religion in so far as it provides, most of the time, the basis from which many crimes and misunderstandings can be issued. More importantly, comprehending such link, it is believed, would save many people the horrible clashes that are committed in the name of religion.
