| Zusammenfassung: | The article analyzes the phenomenon of insurance in Islam. The analysis of this phenomenon was limited to those items that are typical of today's insurance policy and that are prohibited by Islam. Taking Germany as an example, the analysis of the aspects of insurance coverage that are prohibited by Islam shows the existence of the clash between the Muslim community and religious, and legal laws. As part of this conflict Muslims, on the one hand, are obliged to enter into certain types of insurance in connection with the laws of Germany; on the other hand, these actions contradict the canons of their religion. The paper presents a particular type of Islamic insurance -- takāful -- which resolves this religious and legal dilemma. |
