| Résumé: | The Koran is the holy and divine book for human beings who choose to become Muslims and believers of Islam. It contains spirituality, religion, worship, commands, prohibitions, promises, rewards, warnings and punishments. The Koran defines and describes hypocrisy and hypocrites as well as illustrates their characteristics and consequences because it intends to teach human beings not to become hypocrites. Based on some verses or texts of the Koran, this paper attempts to theologically and sociologically present the characteristics of hypocrites and their consequences or implications. This is a kind of theological and sociological studies based on the Koranic texts as its basic reference. |
