The objectivity of such an assessment of the question of propriety is borne out by the experience of becoming autocephalous of other local Orthodox Churches - none of them being able to choose their autocephaly only through the implementation of a particular church program. The reason for this state of affairs is the fact that the procedure for obtaining (or granting) administrative independence of a particular church unit is not written out in Orthodox canons. | ||
