Broadening the comparison to the philosophical arguments of Plotinus on the one hand and to the rituals of vision contained in the Demotic and Greek magical papyri on the other, rare occurrences were isolated in which the reason of a demiurgic creation through diánoia is also attested in the Hermetic texts: as mythical Anthropos' mistake in Poimandres and as doctrinal element, which seems to combine cosmogonic process and vision ritual, in the Hermetica Oxoniensia and CH IX (English) | ||
