Summary: | Neopaganism in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe is practically since its emergence in the first half of the 20th century the object of interest of scholars from diverse academic centres. The problems these scholars are experiencing are under some circumstances similar to those which occur in the research on Western neopaganism, and under other they are specific. In these remarks I make the attempt to present the selected examples of the research on neopaganism in the Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland and how particular scholars had dealt with it. I do not claim however, that one of them wasn’t able to deal with it in such an extent that his research was nonscientific. It seems that some of them in a greater and some in a lesser extent meet the scientific criteria and requirements. |
