Additionally it tackles the political context surrounding religious fundamentalism as well other forms of it. Fundamentalism is here presented as both ideology and praxis. In this light the author highlights the debates on diversity and universalism, which make up the foundations of many multicultural discourses. The paper recalls here several contemporary authors dealing with this issue, such as Steven Lukes and Tariq Modood. | ||
