Summary:In this article, the first part presents the philosophical and educational ideas of John Locke. It presents his attitude to religion and the values of tolerance and religious pluralism that he supports. Describe the Locke's relationship between the state and religions, and his proposals in the field of philosophy of education (teaching the idea of God). The second part proposes a new model of pedagogy of religion. The new pedagogy of religion has generated stronger relationships with religious studies. Both realities of secularization processes, and activity of minority churches and religious groups may serve as an inspiration for the development of the research of education in the religious studies.
