Description
Summary:On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the establishment of a new virus pandemic, Sars-Cov-2, with initial spread in Wuhan, a city located in China. Through systematization of ideal parameters for a new post-pandemic normal, we realized the importance of understanding how the migratory community deals with the new configurations of society, considering the cultural context of capital production and also the churches in the relationship of socio-religious support to the immigrant and their organizational formatting. Thus, this article aims at identifying the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on Brazilian immigrants and churches in Central Florida. Based on an Intuitive Methodology, we established structured interviews for immigrants and religious leaders in the region, a survey developed on the SurveyMonkey Platform and a theoretical framework concerning social determination in the context of the pandemic and the Brazilian migratory flow in the region.
