Summary: | In relation to its numerical strength amongst Quakerism globally, British Quakerism has received a disproportionate degree of sociological investigation over the past 30 years. This research note looks at a series of surveys carried over this time, in particular previously unpublished work on the 2013 survey. The article anticipates the next "British Quaker Survey" of October 2023 and suggests that this survey format could be usefully employed elsewhere to offer a greater level of comparative analysis between different types of Quaker than has been achieved to date. |
