Les soins visent à une réduction fonctionnelle des symptômes, par distanciation ou prise de contrôle. La thérapeutique doit assurer sécurité au présent, apprendre à vivre avec ses symptômes, solliciter des ressources intérieures permettant de retrouver un sentiment de contrôle suffisant sur le présent, du sens et des projets. La formation est aussi essentielle pour sortir de notre surdité ecclésiale et aider les personnes à prendre soin de leur corps et de leur psychisme. | ||

The diagnosis of trauma, initially based on the presence of symptoms, is supported by brain imaging. Therapy aims at a functional reduction of symptoms, through distancing or taking control over them. Therapies must ensure the safety of victims in the present, helping them to learn to live with their symptoms and to solicit inner resources to regain a sense of sufficient control over the present and over meaning and projects. Education is also essential to overcome our ecclesial deafness and help people to take care of their body and psyche. | ||
