In diesem Band wird in länderübergreifenden und interdisziplinären Einzelstudien die Vielfalt jüdischer Lebenswelten in verschiedenen interkulturellen Kommunikationsräumen und im Kontext von Akzeptanz und Ablehnung, Kulturtransfer und Wirtschaftsbeziehungen thematisiert - aber auch im Zusammenhang mit Kriegen, Konflikten, Pogromen und Nationenbildungsprozessen.
