Cette question, rarement soulevée de nos jours, est en elle-même théologiquement pertinente et permet de situer le Canon scripturaire dans le Canon plus large de la foi. Je procéderai en tenant compte du témoignage d'Irénée de Lyon, en premier lieu, et de l'arrière-plan que Justin, 1 Timothée et Paul lui-même ont pu constituer pour le développement d'Irénée sur le sujet, qui lie le caractère écrit des traditions scripturaires à la difficulté que le péché a introduite dans la relation entre l'homme et Dieu. | ||
| 520 | |a In this article, I discuss why early Christianity - even if confessing that the prophecies were fulfilled in the life of Jesus, that this life was poured out through the Spirit to his disciples as a life-giving, ultimate and permanent presence, and that this living reality was transmitted as a κανών - ultimately considered that written witnesses of the salvation events were indispensable. This question, rarely raised nowadays, is in itself theologically relevant and helps to situate the scriptural Canon within the broader Canon of faith. I will proceed by taking into account the testimony of Irenaeus of Lyons in the first place; and the background that Justin, 1 Timothy, and Paul himself may have offered for Irenaeus' development on the subject, which links the written character of the scriptural traditions with the difficulty that sin introduced in the relationship between mankind and God. | ||
