Pour Philon, Clément, Origène et Grégoire de Nysse, Dieu dépose son image intelligible transcendante dans l'intellect humain sous forme de reflets, à savoir d'une manière dégradée. Pour les définir positivement, les chrétiens identifient ces reflets, qui impliquent une certaine parenté et connaturalité entre Dieu et l'homme, aux grandes vertus platoniciennes. Pourtant, cette parenté n’a de résultat bénéfique que si elle s’appuie sur le souci de soi et la transformation de l'ordre établi. | ||

For Philo, Clement, Origen and Gregory of Nyssa, God deposits his transcendent intelligible image in the human intellect in the form of reflections, i.e. in a degraded manner. To define them positively, Christians identify these reflections, which imply a certain kinship and connaturality between God and man, with the great Platonic virtues. Yet this kinship can only be beneficial if it is based on self-concern and the transformation of the established order. | ||
