| 520 | |a In the current rapid development of sand pottery industry amidst a philosophical inquiry of its cultural heritage, there exists a contradiction between the cultural aesthetics and stagnation of management and design experience that led to the instability of the sand pottery market. The philosophical significance of sand pottery design process and its improvement through digitalized technological innovation is rather a subject of inquiry. The philosophical significance of sand pottery deepens when an innovative design emerged based on knowledge database and contour tracking sampling. The fractal dimension analysis method was used to explore the quantification of aesthetic and functional value in the philosophical context. The research results show that the appearance of sand pottery obtained through contour tracking sampling assisted design resulted in high recognition of its pots, though this innovation was not widely recognized by industry professionals, giving rise to some philosophical issues. Studying a subject like sand pottery in philosophical perspective stands in sharp contrast with digital design technology. This was the limitation of this research since while digital technology enhanced the design of sand pottery products, it also shrouded its philosophical and cultural heritage, which needs to be given high significance | ||
