| Résumé: | The architectural and archaeological survey of the Qubahan School near Amêdi in northern Iraq enabled a detailed reconstruction of the building development beginning with the foundation of the complex in the 12 th century AD. This monument is a rather rare example of Atabeg-period architecture in this region that has been neglected by scholars so far. Der Archäologisch-architektonische Survey der Koranschule Qubahan bei Amêdi im Nordirak hat eine ausführliche Rekonstruktion der Bauentwicklung der Medrese seit ihrer Gründung im 12. Jahrhundert ermöglicht. Dieses Baudenkmal stellt ein seltenes Beispiel der Architektur aus der Atabeg-Zeit in diesem noch recht unerforschten Gebiet dar. |
