| Summary: | The article analyses the way in which modern Arabic drama deals with Arabic social history. The analysis takes place within the framework of the main currents of Arabic drama: neoclassicism, realism and creationalism. The greatest difference is depicted between the neoclassicist and the creationalist drama.
