Description
Summary:The charismatic movement is the most expanding part in modern Christianity. A newly founded charismatic group in Tuebingen is the object of a research conducted in 1993. Emphasis is laid on exploring the mechanism of recruitment of new members. The stability of membership and the degree of commitment are variables of the religious identity before entering the new charismatic congregation. All hypotheses are statistically tested. The religious group itself has the opportunity to comment on the results obtained by the research group.
