Sumerische Titanen? Nein, danke!
This contribution aims to explain that, despite a proposal of Daniel E. Gershenson, the etymology of greek Τιτάν is surely not Sumerian, because there are no Sumerian words TI.TA.AN with the meaning »One who dwells in Heaven«.

Cette contribution a pour but d’expliquer que, malgré la proposition de Daniel E. Gershenson, l’étymologie du grec Τιτάν ne peut pas être sumérienne car il n’existe pas de terme sumérien TI.TA.AN dont le sens serait »celui qui réside dans les cieux«. Dieser Beitrag zeigt, dass trotz der von Daniel E. Gershenson referierten Etymologie das griechische Wort Τιτάν mit Sicherheit nicht auf das Sumerische zurückgehen kann, weil kein sumerischer Ausdruck TI.TA.AN mit der Bedeutung »der im Himmel wohnt/lebt« existiert. |
