| Summary: | O debate sobre a interface entre Ciência(s) da(s)s Religião(ões) ou Religiologia e Teologia no Brasil atravessa a produção docente da pós-graduação do campo de Estudos da Religião. Este artigo, ao modo de uma religiografia, destaca alguns momentos desse debate, partindo do Seminário de 2000, ocorrido na UFJF, aos dias atuais. Um personagem que acompanhou esse debate é o teólogoe cientista da religião Afonso M. Ligorio Soares, quem soube coabitar, ao longo de sua trajetória, tanto a subárea Teologia quanto a subárea de Ciências da Religião. A posição de Soares, além de refletir com clareza sobre as especificidades das abordagens em cada subárea, aponta para as possíveis colaborações mútuas. Considerando o perfil de formação pós-graduada dos/das docentes nos programas de Ciência(s) da(s) Religião(ões), para além do debate epistemológico quedeveria presidir essa reflexão, o quadro atual do corpo docente dos programas de pós-graduação na área Ciências da Religião e Teologia sugere que o perfil brasileiro tende ao reconhecimento das interfaces entre essas subáreas no campo dos Estudos da Religião no Brasil. The interfaced debate between Science of Religion or Religiology and Theology in Brazil passes through the Religious Studies teaching production. This article, as a religiography approach, highlights some moments of a debate which started in a Seminar which took place in the year 2000 held at UFJF (Federal University of Juiz de Fora / Brazil) and continues until today. A character who followed that debateis the theologian and scientist of religion Afonso M. Ligorio Soares, who knew how to cohabit throughout his career in both subareas of knowledge: Theology and Science of Religion. Soares’ position, besides reflecting clearly the specific approach of each area, points to the possible mutual collaboration. Considering the postgraduate production profile of teachers in the Science(s)of Religion(s) programs, besides the epistemological debate that should preside over that reflection, the current Graduate programs in Science of Religion and Theology area suggest that the Brazilian profile tends to recognize the interface between these two subareas in the field of Religious Studies in Brazil. |
