Description
Summary:The subject of the Jews and Judaism was central to much of Martin Luther's writings and thought. While important for and informed by his own developing theology, Luther's treatment of the Jews and Judaism also drew from a well of religious and historical sources and must be placed into several contexts. On the 500th anniversary of Luther's 95 Theses, this article provides an overview and explores the complexities of Luther's attitudes towards Jews and Judaism.
