Summary:The article traces the work of those who have spoken on positive relationship between German philosopher Martin Heidegger and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer and will attempt to show how and why Bonhoeffer's postdoctoral thesis, "Act and Being," was influenced by topics that Heidegger put on the agenda in "Being and Time. " Topics include though Bonhoeffer agreed with theologian Karl Barth's criticism of liberal theology, he rejected his method based on act in favor of an ontological approach.
