| Summary: | Luke-Acts belongs broadly to a Thucydidean tradition of contemporary historiography, yet stands in an awkward position, since Luke himself was not an eyewitness of Jesus' resurrection.Luke accordingly constructs a distinctive presentation of autopsy with affinities to Herodotean wonder reporting and later paradoxography. Forensic and prophetic elements also shape Luke's construction of eyewitness. This all urges a choice upon his readers either to assent to the story of his witnesses in an act of belief or to reject the truth claim openly. The report of Jesus' resurrection resists being held at a distance like the fabulae of Greco-Roman fiction or antiquarian history. 4207 Luc-Actes appartient globalement à la tradition de l'historiographie contemporaine venant de Thucydide, mais se trouve dans une position inconfortable, puisque Luc lui-même n'était pas un témoin oculaire de la résurrection de Jésus. Luc construit en conséquence une présentation particulière de l'autopsie avec des ressemblances au compte rendu de merveilles par Hérodote et à la paradoxographie hellénistique et gréco-romaine. Les éléments forensiques et prophétiques façonnent également la construction lucanienne de témoin oculaire. Tout cela invite ses lecteurs à un choix: soit donner son assentiment à l'histoire de ses témoins dans un acte de foi, soit refuser la revendication de vérité ouvertement. Le compte rendu de la résurrection de Jésus résiste à être tenu à distance comme les fabulae de la fiction gréco-romaine ou de l'historiographie de l'histoire antique. |
