Description
Summary:This article addresses the therapeutic efficacy of understanding the unique relationship between the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Self Psychology as it relates to terminal illness. Specifically, I argue it is the therapist/patient connection that facilitates the human/Divine relationship so that the patients gain a new attitude to the issues surrounding their death. My case study focuses on my patient (Joe), a 62-year-old man diagnosed with late stage prostate cancer in the fourth year of his treatment with me.
