But Islam is also expanding in other nations, so that, on the other hand, one can speak of a universalistic tendency of this religion. In this respect it is similar to Christianity. Furthermore, the Qur’an includes no statement that is tied to a specific nation. It advocates, instead, the view that everything and everyone was created by God, regardless of color, race, or gender.
